A living tradition.
The Great Highland bagpipe. Snare, tenor, and bass drums. Musical traditions passed from one player to the next.
ISLE OF MAUIOUR PEOPLE. OUR ISLAND.
Scottish musical traditions, carried by a volunteer community on Maui.
We are pipers, drummers, learners, and friends. What brings us together is the music—and the pleasure of sharing it.
Isle of Maui Pipe Band is an all-volunteer group keeping Highland piping and drumming alive on Maui. Our sound belongs in a street parade, at a festival, beside a wedding, and wherever people gather for a meaningful moment.
There is room here to begin, to improve, and to contribute. Free instruction helps new players find their first notes and rhythms, while experienced musicians bring the ensemble to life.
