ISLE OF MAUI
SCOTTISH ROOTS. MAUI SPIRIT.
An ocean apart. A tradition together.
Meet the Isle of Maui Pipe Band.
IT ALL BEGINS WITH A BREATH
Air in. Steady arm pressure.
The music carries through the breath.
Bagpipes on an island in the Pacific? Absolutely.
We’re a volunteer community keeping the music and culture of the Scottish Highlands alive on Maui. We come together to learn, to celebrate, and to share a sound that carries.

01 — THE PIPES
Air becomes a drone. Fingers find a melody. A sound you feel long before it reaches you.
WOOD · AIR · RHYTHM · TRADITION
Switch on sound, then hold a note. Add the drone and see where the melody takes you.
A playful synthesizer inspired by the pipes. The real thing starts with a teacher.
Touch & hold, or use the A–L keys on your keyboard.
From island gatherings to the band’s video archive, a few ways to get closer to the sound.
